What is a virtual experience?
A virtual experience is a simulated first-person view of an actual location allowing the viewer to move through the location by viewing a series of 360 degree panoramic images. Each 360 degree panoramic image is a composition of a number of still photographs stitched together to form an uninterrupted view of a given location. Read more about Inclusive Virtual Experiences

I have decided to purchase a virtual experience. Please explain how the process works.
After discussing your needs, you will receive a written proposal that includes costs and outlines the project requirements. Once that is agreed upon, we then schedule a date to come out to your location for a site survey to capture the images. After your virtual experience is shot, we start the experience production process. You will receive a link where your virtual experience can be looked over for approval.
How long will the photoshoot take?
The length of the site survey will vary depending on the size and complexity of the location. Smaller locations may only take upto and hour, wheras large venues or stadiums can take a couple of days.

We will work with you to minimise the impact of any on-site survey

When will my virtual experience be ready after the photoshoot?
Processing time depends on the level of customisation and size of virtual experience, with an average virtual experience being available for review within 3-5 days.
Within our written proposal, a project timeline will be included to reflect your bespoke package.
What do I need to prepare?
We are not responsible for the presentation of the property for photography but will make efforts to improve the presentation of the property from a 360° point of view.
We ask all our customers to prepare the relevant areas that are being captured in 360° to your own exacting standards. Before a photography session you may wish to consider these hints for presentation: Lobby area de-cluttered, beds made properly, cushions/pillows arranged restaurant tables set. Fresh flowers and filled fruit bowls can be arranged to add points of interest to pictures. For external shots be mindful of scaffolding/building work which would detract from the image. Try and ensure all the lights are working.

Imagine the photographer as a potential guest. You would want to show it in the best light to secure their business. Remember, the images we take are fully immersive 360° pictures. We are allowing the potential visitor to (virtually) step into the scene and see it as if they were there.

Furthermore, staging people to pose in the photo-shoot is a great way to ensure predictable, good looking “action shots” within your virtual experience. It can give potential customers more confidence and reassurance when visiting a location.

How do customers view the virtual experience?
The two most common ways for customers to view the virtual experience is by; embedding the virtual experience directly on your website or by placing a clickable link that takes you directly to the virtual experience. Both of these are relatively easy processes which can be discussed and aided by our experienced team. The virtual experiences are hosted on our server to aid the smooth running process of the virtual experiences online.
Alternatively, if none of these options are suitable for you we can discuss alternatives with you so you’re comfortable with how to proceed.
Do my customers need special software to view the virtual experience?
No. The vast majority of devices and computers have an HTML5 browser installed on them. All our experiences are delivered in HTML5 for maximum accessibility.
HTML5 has been designed to deliver almost everything you’d want to do online without requiring additional software such as browser plugins. It does everything from virtual experiences to apps, music to movies, and can also be used to build incredibly complicated applications that run in your browser.

There’s more. HTML5 isn’t proprietary, so you don’t need to pay royalties to use it. It’s also cross-platform, which means it doesn’t care whether you’re using a tablet or a smartphone, a netbook, notebook or ultrabook or a Smart TV: if your browser supports HTML5, it should work flawlessly.

I don’t have a website, can I still have a virtual experience?
Yes. All our experiences are listed on virtualinclusion.com Virtual Tour Directory website along with your basic business information and contact details (as provided). You can also place the virtual experience weblink on other websites where you promote your business.
May I decide what interior and exterior shots I want in my 360 virtual experience?
Yes, you may choose any scenes or rooms to be represented in the virtual experience of each property. Our professional team are on hand to provide our experience and discuss how to maximise your business and location.
Exterior shots are weather permitting and, of course, most things look best on a nice sunny day.

If I have to cancel my 360 virtual experience shoot, will I still be charged?
There is no charge for cancelling your appointment if you contact with Virtual Inclusion at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment, at which time we will be able to rearrange a convenient time. If you do not contact us before the appointment or cancel on the day of the survey, you will be charged a minimum cancellation fee of £50.00 and up to the full quoted cost plus any travel expenses incurred.
